I’ve had a home poker game for awhile now. We have a pretty simple structure. It’s $20/buy-in. No rebuys. $1000 in chips. Blinds go up every 20 minutes. Winner take all tournament format. Everyone can drink as much as they want. :)

Recently, Mark Holmes (writer for Poker Penguin) brought his camera over and snapped some pictures after he got taken out and I thought some people might be interested in seeing what our home tournament game looks like, with pictures of some of the writers of this blog. So without further ado, I give you two pictures from last week’s game.

The game ended with Mike and I heads up. He went all in on the short stack with pocket 4s. I called with A9os. On the river I got a 9 to win the game.

That’s my fully stocked bar in the background… it’s a wonder I’m able to play at all with that thing open. ;)
