7 Things you don’t know about me
1. I quit eating red meat and pork in January of 1992 because of a dare to myself really. I had just gotten back from a long vacation trip to Scotland where I stayed with a bunch of vegan friends. Somehow when I got back to the States I decided that I should see if I could just go without red meat for a month. At the end of the month, it just sorta stuck. I haven’t eaten red meat since then.
2. I quit eating fowl in 1996 after watching a PBS documentary about chicken raising. Simply disgusting! I still eat turkey sometimes on Thanksgiving though.
3. I got a degree in Creative Writing and promptly went to work in the computer industry, where I worked for about 10 years until I recently quit to pursue my dream of making movies.
4. I never liked coffee until I dated a girl who was addicted to the stuff… I started drinking it simply so I would have something to do while hanging out with her at the coffee shop. Now, I’m addicted too!
5. I’ve published a few short science fiction stories in national magazines.
6. I took Japanese in college, but now barely remember a word of it.
7. I’ve DJed once a week at a local goth/industrial club for over a year now. I also occasionally DJ special goth/industrial event nights around the city. One night I DJed at a strip club to see what the experience was like (I thought it would be an easy job). I hated it and promptly quit after the DJ training me told me that the job gets better when “the girls start giving you blowjobs in the DJ booth.”
Told you that I’d eventually do this… sorry it took so long.

Nice! Finally got to it eh? Funny thing, I’m involved in the media industry too. I make TV programs for Singapore’s national TV. In the midst of working on a movie at the moment.
I turned vegan for a month, couldn’t stick to it though.
