Maybe I have a problem. When I’m not playing poker, I think about poker. When I go hang out with friends (who don’t play), I have a hard time thinking of things to say that DON’T relate to poker.
Luckily, I think most of my friends understand this. They understand that I’m obsessed. They also understand that I’m pretty good and a winning player. The thing that hinders my winnings right now is my lack of a sufficient bankroll to move up to some higher level play. Not that I would necessarily win at those levels, but I feel that I’m good enough to try. But, I’m getting lots of film work right now… so as soon as I get caught up on some bills, I’ll be making a move.
So, I wonder… does anyone else have problems talking to their non-poker player friends now that they have the poker monkey on their back?
