A year ago, I made the switch from Windows based laptop to Mac laptop because of Final Cut Pro and my job as a film maker. Only then did I realize that most of the poker sites I was playing at didn’t support Mac. Slowly that’s changing because finally, PokerStars has recognized that people who like to gamble also have Macs.
Just this Friday, PokerStars finally released it’s real money version of their client for Mac. This has to be a big relieve to all the Mac users who were forced to use some kind of Windows emulation software to play at their site before. Certainly, it reduces the headache.
You can download the Mac client here, assuming your Mac meets the following requirements:
Mac OS X 10.4.10 or later
Minimum system configuration:
· PowerPC G4 or G5 or Intel Mac
· 512MB RAM
· 1024×768 screen resolution or higher
· 60MB free disk space
· 56k dial-up Internet connection
Recommended system configuration:
· PowerPC G4 1Ghz or faster, PowerPC G5 or Intel Mac
· 1024MB RAM
· 1024×768 screen resolution or higher
· 100MB free disk space
· 128kbps or faster DSL or Cable Internet connection
